While Altura Park is somewhat hidden, getting to it is relatively easy. The park is located in the northeast quadrant of Albuquerque, just under one-mile south of I-40. The park is an approximate 1/4 mile walk to Smith’s Grocery Store and a 1/2 mile walk to the new Whole Foods market on Carlisle Blvd.
